Runner up: The Times’s Build the News

On 19-20 March 2016, I joined the Cardiff School of Journalism team for Build the News, at The Times computational and data journalism contest.

Starting from a Freedom of Information request, in one weekend we built “Marry right or live abroad: How the government dictates your love life” – an interactive data-driven feature explaining how UK family visa laws affect the family life of British citizens – and the lives of their children.
