Troubled waters (Delayed Gratification)

Writing

As the UN warns that an increase in migrants fleeing the civil war in Libya combined with a decrease in rescue boats risks turning the Mediterranean into a “sea of blood”, Matthew Lee and I spoke to the women trying to deal with the consequences of a decade-long refugee crisis that is far from over.

I reported on the migrants who went missing trying to cross the Mediterranean Sea, and how their families are still looking for them.

They article was published in print only. Here’s a PDF (please note that pull quotes and page furniture may be placeholders – this isn’t the version that was printed but it’s the one I have.)
